Object options

Allows modification of object options.

Crash control Only for the cube object. The airplane crashs in case you fly through the object. If the cube doesn't have any textures, you can use it as an invisible 'crash area'. This is useful for complicated objects. The Crash control will only work with a scale of 1.0 or any fixed scale factor.
RotateToAircraft:  An interesting new feature with FS2000 (& CFS) which allows any 2 dimensional object to always rotate to face the viewer. For example, a texture of a person will always face the viewer by rotating in the field of view. Also, by using a tree texture, the tree appears to be full bodied, or 3 dimensional.
Constant object rotation:  Use this feature for radar antennas or other rotating objects. Please note that some combinations of options aren't possible.
Shade polygons
From left to right:
Illuminated (no shading), soft shading, hard shading

Use the soft shading option for round objects, like the cylinder. Soft shading doesn't look realistic if you use it for a cube. Use hard shading for cubes, roofs, walls, ...

"Illuminated" objects won't get dark in the night

Drawing priotity (ZBias): Don't use this feature if you don't need it. You'll only need it if two side (polygon) of different objects are at the same location and FlightSimulator doesn't know which side is more important (so both sides will be glimmering). The drawing priority is something like the 'layer' of polygons in Airport 2.6. An exagerated usage of this drawing priority can cause bleedthroughs in FS200x!
