Background image:

Shows a background image. The coordinates are for the upper left edge of the picture.

Scale:

Normal variable Scale:
This is the default setting for API or SCM Macros. You must set the object scale in the scenery design program (e.g Airport 2.6). The visibility distance of the object will be shorter, if you use a scale which is smaller than 1.

Fixed scale:
Use this option when you want to make a detailed object and the visibility distance shouldn't be shorter. Recommended values for common objects are 0.25 and 0.125.

See ->Scale up all objects For more information about changing the scale.

API/SCM Macro Settings

Due the differenced between FS98, CFS, FS2000, CFS2 and FS2002 it's necessary to set up some complicated options. I recommend you to click on the button 'Configuration Assistant'. This 'assistant' will ask you some questions :-)

'Loadbitmap' function
With this function activated, the seasons of the year and time of day FS2000 textures are utilised.
A current version of SCASM is required. If you use Airport 2.6, a suitable version is already supplied. Activate Loadbitmap if you don't use FS98.

'Don't use VectorJump'
VectorJump is an SCASM instruction used for FS98. This prevents a problem where a solid object can be seen through another solid object in the foreground. Vectorjump is not reqired by FS2000, except in some cases with semi-transparent textures.

No FS98 shadow correction
This option avoids flying shadows in FS98. Activate this option
- If you use FS2000, CFS2 or FS2002
- If you've got a problem with wrong sided textures in FS98. But you will also need to activate 'No shadows', otherwise you'll see flying shadows in FS98.

No Shadows:
If you activate this option, FlightSimulator won't produce any shadows for this object. This option is useful for trees, where shadows look unrealistic.
